There are various procedures designed to address the various concerns related to the vaginal region. Here is a brief listing of some of the more common vaginal procedures:
This procedure is performed to reduce the size of enlarged or protruding inner lips of the vagina (labia minora).
Reduces the clitoral hood’s width and/or length. This allows for greater exposure of the clitoris. This is often combined with or part of a Labiaplasty.
Also known as vaginal tightening, this procedure is designed to address stretched and damaged vaginal muscles typically resulting from childbirth. This operation effectively tightens the vagina.
During this procedure, the excessive fatty tissue covering the labia majora is removed. This is typically performed by liposuction alone.
Can be performed when the pubic area (mons pubis) descends or collapses downwards due to weight fluctuations or age. This procedure raises the entire area by surgically removing excess skin and fat from the region and then re-draping the skin to lift the pubic area. It is often performed in conjunction with an Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) operation.
If you were born with very thin labia majora (outer lips of your vagina) or if you’ve lost volume over time or due to trauma, labial enhancement can be performed to add overall size shape to the outer areas of your vagina. This is often performed with a fat transfer procedure – this means having liposuction in one region of the body, and injecting that fat into the areas you want, which in this case is the labia majora.
This involves the reconstruction of the hymen to restore it to a virginal state. This is usually performed for cultural / religious reasons.
